Rev. John Moreland has been the Senior Minister at Light on the Mountains Center for Spiritual Living in Sun Valley, Idaho since April 2002. He has come to appreciate both the amazing benefits and the unique challenges of serving in a resort community, as well as the privilege of supporting people during times of their greatest joys and times of their greatest grief. Rev. John received his Masters of Divinity degree from the Holmes Institute in 2000 after earning Bachelor of Art degrees in both Graphic Design and Music from California State University Northridge in Southern California.
Rev Dr Kenn Gordon is responsible for bringing to the world the teachings of Science of Mind®, also known as Religious Science. As Spiritual Leader of Centers for Spiritual Living, it is his goal to help awaken humanity in order to create a world that works for everyone. Toward this goal, Gordon travels the world speaking with everyone from government and religious leaders to individual seekers about ageless spiritual principles that have been passed down through millennia and synthesized in the teachings of Science of Mind by its founder, Ernest Holmes. In 2009, Dr. Gordon spoke at the Parliament of World Religions in Melbourne, Australia, along with the Dalai Lama and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. In the same year, his book, Mind & Manifestation, was published. He also contributes regularly to Science of Mind magazine, published by Centers for Spiritual Living. We are grateful to welcome him back to our annual conference this year.
Rev. Georgia Prescott founded the Center for Spiritual Awareness, then called the Sacramento Church of Religious Science, in late 1998 shortly after graduation from Holmes Institute of Consciousness studies. She is a dynamic and humorous speaker, gifted teacher and compassionate counselor. She is known for her storytelling and bringing the wisdom of spiritual masters from all the great religions into her talks.
2014 Inductee to the Martin Luther King, Jr.

Rev. Masando Hiraoka received his bachelor’s degree in religious studies from University of Colorado-Boulder, was introduced to his meditation practice during his travels to India through Naropa University's Buddhist studies program and received a master’s in consciousness studies from Holmes Institute. His monthly column, The Art of Being Human, is in the Science of Mind Magazine. He is also the first graduate and current chair of Centers for Spiritual Living’s, ReGeneration program that provides mentorship and funding for young adults under the age of 35 who are pursuing the path of becoming a minister. He currently serves as an Assistant Minister at Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, CO in charge of the Social Uplift Ministry, focusing on interfaith engagement, environmental responsibility, and non-violence and human dignity for all including racial justice and creating a culture of inclusion.
Rev. Dr. Sharon Hudson is the Field Leader for Centers for Spiritual Living (CSL). In this role, her focus is the success and vitality of CSL communities and ministries around the world. She has been in Religious Science since she was a teen; and a minister since 1995. She was the founding Minister of Light of Life Center in Rancho Bernardo, CA. She served as a chaplain at San Diego Children’s Hospital and as a hospice chaplain. As a dynamic and inspired speaker, teacher and facilitator, she is passionate about the power of the Science of Mind to transform lives and create a world that works for all. With a focus on interpersonal communications, conflict transformation and spiritual principles, she has facilitated classes, workshops and retreats for Holmes Institute, Big Sky Retreat, Asilomar conferences, and many CSL Centers.
Rev Larry King joined the Portland Center for Spiritual Living in 1998 and completed his Masters of Consciousness Studies from Holmes Institute in 2008 while serving as interim minister. He received his first letter of call as Senior Minister for the Center the same year. When asked about his favorite part of being a minister, Larry commented, “I love teaching – in classes, from the platform and in counseling sessions. When a person really begins to understand their innate power and grace, they are set free. Our teachings are so powerful! Being a witness to such spiritual growth is priceless. I also like ‘being there’ for people who are in the midst of chaos. I’m a great listener and that’s often all that’s needed.”
